What is CodeRED?
CodeRED is a state-of-the-art voice messaging
system that the Coral Springs Police Department will use to
alert residents about local criminal activity, homeland
security issues, weather emergencies, missing children or
adults, evacuation orders, and other situations that require
immediate dissemination of crucial information.
The CodeRED system can deliver a recorded message to
60,000 residents in an hour, and can target specific
geographic areas.
The CodeRED dialing system attempts each telephone number
up to 3 times and will leave a message on your answering
machine, if you have one!
WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?
Most Coral Springs residential telephone numbers are already
in our database, but you can make sure we have yours by
clicking

visit the CodeRED website and entering the information
requested. You can add other telephone numbers (i.e., cell
phones and out-of-county/state phone numbers) as long as you
use your Coral Springs address for each additional phone
number.
