MINUTES OF LANDOWNERS MEETING

SUNSHINE WATER CONTROL DISTRICT

The landowners meeting of the Sunshine Water Control District was held Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at 6:35 p.m. at Commission Chambers, Coral Springs City Hall, 9551 West Sample Road, Coral Springs, Florida.

FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS Call to Order

Mr. Petty called the landowners meeting to order.

SECOND ORDER OF BUSINESS Determination of Number of Voting Units Represented

Mr. Petty stated the first item is to determine a quorum and asked how many landowners are present representing a vote within the Sunshine Water Control District.

Mr. Petty stated we have two. We need one for a quorum.

THIRD ORDER OF BUSINESS Election of Landowner to Serve as Chairman of the Meeting

Mr. Petty stated the next item of business is election of a landowner to serve as Chairman for the meeting.

Ms. Macomber nominated Mr. Parks as Chairman and Mr. Parks seconded the nomination; there being no further nominations, Mr. Parks served as Chairman.

FOURTH ORDER OF BUSINESS Nominations and Elections

Mr. Petty stated we are looking for a nomination for the vacant seat of Ms. Macomber.

Ms. Parks nominated Ms. Macomber to serve as a Supervisor of the Sunshine Water Control District and Ms. Macomber seconded the nomination.

FIFTH ORDER OF BUSINESS Engineer's Report

SIXTH ORDER OF BUSINESS Administration's Report

Mr. Petty stated the prepared Engineer’s Report requirement of our enabling legislation. It is a brief summary of the actions of the District over the past year, which is available for public dissemination.

It covers both the Engineer’s and Administrative Report. A package was prepared for the landowner’s present. Are there any questions concerning the report?

Mr. Parks responded no questions.

Mr. Petty stated for those present the report is available and we have extra copies.

There not being any, the next item followed.

EIGHTH ORDER OF BUSINESS Adjournment

The landowners' meeting adjourned at 6:48 p.m.
